Brock University Digital Repository Depositor Agreement

I, the undersigned, wish to voluntarily deposit my work with the Brock University Digital Repository (the Repository). 

In exchange for images of the my work being made part of the Repository collection, I understand, and agree to, the following terms and conditions: 

1. I warrant that the work I am depositing is my own original creation. I warrant that this work does not infringe the copyright or other legal rights of anyone else. I am not aware of any legal claim against me regarding ownership of this work. 
2. By making this deposit, I hereby grant Brock University a non-exclusive, irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, licence to copy, index, compile, display, perform, and publish my work for the purposes of the Repository and of Brock University. 
3. The Repository is an open access collection. I understand and agree that images of the artwork will be distributed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International licence. This means that others may use and share my work for non-commercial uses without my permission and without payment, but cannot modify it in any way.
4. I retain the right to be credited and/or associated with my work. The Repository may publish my name in association with any of the images of the artwork. 
5. My work may be digitized, modified, altered, and/or re-formatted in order to publish, maintain, or preserve the Repository’s collection.   
6. The Repository will use reasonable efforts to preserve my work from damage or loss, but shall not be liable for any loss sustained by the depositor.
