The Badger, Volume 3, Issue 4, includes: BUSA’s recent resolution, that no member of the Assembly may occupy a position in The Badger’s executive or editorial team, this is a clear attempt to control the press by the Assembly; The president of the Ontario Region of the Canadian University Press (ORCUP), John Jukes, is fired for negligence; The Student Assembly will meet with the Student’s Council of the Teachers’ College to find common ground on their current strained relationship; UBC psychiatrist claims that suicide rates are twice as high in university students than non-students of the same age; The Editor criticizes academic regurgitation, as enforced by the Ontario Board of Education.
