Abstract

The Press, Volume 6, Issue 10 includes: BUSA: the Rumble: BUSA resolution, pulling student representatives from Administration level committees, causes controversy and leads to referendum on the matter; Student Unionism: Critique of the current forms of student unionism at Canadian universities, junior branches of the administration and not autonomous bodies; Frank Reynolds criticizes Brock’s new residence as being bland and monotonous, more akin to a hotel than a home; The Academic Affairs Commission Report: Referendum Special; But, Is It Worth Saving?: John Shingler, Assistant Professor of Political Science at McGill University, criticizes the contemporary university, student exploitation, administrative tokenism and more, and pleads for student activism and revolution.
