The Press, Volume 33, Issue 24 includes: It is almost time for the BUSU presidential election, with four people vying for the position. The candidates are Denzil D’Sa, Ernie Schirru, Jason Basil, and Lesley McMillan; Canadian Foreign Affairs Minister Lloyd Axworthy and US Secretary of State Madeline Albright worked hard to try to patch up the difference between the two countries on the topic of Cuba, and Canada’s resentment over US anti-cba legislation; Jean-Marie Le Pen, leader of the National Front party in France, made more antisemitic comments when he accused President Jacques Chirac of being in the pay of Jewish organizations
