The Press, Volume 16, Issue 8 includes: No more Press!: BUSU cannot afford to publish Press for the rest of the term, so there will be no regular papers after the Nov. 7 issue; The Editor criticizes BUSU president Dave Schaffer for lying to the Press in order to get its compliance in shutting down for the term; 2,000 angry demonstrators gather at the Ontario legislature to loudly protest disproportionate budget cuts affecting students; Two student newspapers, the Dalhousie Gazette and the Saint Mary’s University Journal, have been censored by their printers for potentially libelous content.
