Reproduction of Sir Isaac Brock's battle dress, General Staff Officer's Coatee.
Abstract
This reproduction of Sir Isaac Brock's coatee is based on the original in the collection of the National Museum of Civilization, Ottawa. It is mostly red with blue cuffs, collar and lapels; the buttons and lace are gold. This coatee is reputed to be the one that Brock was wearing at the Battle of Queenston Heights on October 13, 1812, where he was fatally wounded.
