Abstract

The Press, Volume 16, Issue 7 includes: Despite holdups over an article guaranteeing women of NUS the freedom of choice in the matter of abortions, the National Union of Students passes the declaration of rights of the women student; Sloshes, in which “students pay a flat rate and are then entitles to consume an unlimited amount of liquor,” are banned from the lounges of Brock’s Decew Residence, leading Sandra Glaze to question whether residences are a public place or a private home; Liberal Arts Graduates and the Labour Market; Concordia University’s neutron generator is leaking neutron particles for over three years; this is the latest of a series of problems involving radioactive waste in Canadian and American universities.
