Abstract

The Press, Volume 2, Issue 4 includes: Brock has begun construction on a new Science Complex, to replace Glenridge Campus as the facilities for science students, and the Concordia Lutheran Seminary; Betty Blashill examines the recently introduced Bill C—157 and people’s demands for the Bill’s complete withdrawal; Dawna Bacon and Chris Conrad explore via interviews three major events that occurred over the summer at Brock: the termination of John McNeil’s council seat, Christina Mereu’s exclusion from a BUSU project, and the firing of Binod Singh as Manager of General Brock; Dr. Brian Ostrow is coming to Brock to present a “practical program to avert the danger of imperialist war,” which is co-sponsored by the Brock Committee against Imperial War Preparations and the Niagara Council of the People’s Front; Once again, BUSU and the Alumni Association are entering a float in the Grape and Wine Festival Parade.
