Photocopies of original documents concerning Sir Isaac Brock

Abstract

The first document is a photocopy of a certificate appointing Donald McDonell Captain in the Second Regiment of Glengary, dated April 15, 1812 and signed by Isaac Brock as president of Upper Canada. The second document is a poster announcing the laying of the foundation stone of the Brock Monument at Queenston Heights, and the reburial of Sir Isaac Brock, dated October 13, 1853. The third document is a copy of the York Gazette dated October 17, 1812, which contains an article on the Battle of Queenston Heights. The fourth document is an article from Canadian Journal about the construction of the Brock Monument, dated 1852.
