Abstract

The Press, Volume 33, Issue 1 includes: Martin Bryant, a wealthy loner from Tasmania, shot and killed 35 people on April 28th in the historic penal site of Fort Arthur. Victims were killed via gun shot and a fire set on the site; The House of Commons recently approved the government’s controversial gay rights bill which will fight discrimination based on sexual orientation; Israeli shelling of a UN base in Lebanon on April 18th was not a mistake. This bombing killed over one hundred civilians.
