Abstract

The Press, Volume 27, Issue 23 includes: Brock receives $1.5 million from the Ontario government for renovations to the library and to increase the accessibility of the campus, among other projects; The St. Catharines Residents Against Pollution (SCRAP) protect increasing industrial pollution; BUSAC passes Press bylaws, which guarantee editorial freedom and funding, includes job descriptions for Press staff and establishes an Editorial Board, but a motion is also passed which calls for Press profits to be returned to the Student Union; BUSAC permits sixty dollars per year for long distance phone calls; Prof. Mary Frances, Lori Kasprick, and Robyn McComb win awards.
