The Press, Volume 7, Issue 8 includes: Brock Hosts OUS: The Ontario Union of Students' Conference is held at Brock; Separate and Equal: George Manuel, the chief of the National Indian Brotherhood, gave a speech about the poor state of Indigenous students in Canada at Waterloo; reception was mixed with some attentively listening and others paying little attention and having their own conversations; Press Special Feature dealing with growing Women's Liberation Movement, including articles from Melodie Mayson, OUS fieldworker and Karen Kearns Liberation news Service and highlighting prominent pieces of women's literature; BUSEC Probes: BUSEC holds a debate with Energy Mines and Resources Minister George Kerr to debate the pollution issue with students; BUSEC also holds a lecture and seminar series about environmental protection; Tuck Shop: The Tuck Shop at Brock holds its Grand Opening and begins hiring and training student employees.
