Abstract
The Press, Volume 29, Issue 12 includes: Dave Wells, BUSU president, promised students that he would provide short-term, interest-free loans during his campaign and he has now made good on that promise after being elected; Drunk Brock students are causing problems for local taxi drivers, one driver citing a few incidences where students were incredibly verbally abusive when he wouldn’t take more than his allotted passengers; Bill Clinton has been elected president of the United States and is preparing to take his role. Will his time as president alter the view of the U.S. are the world perennial villain?; Leonard Peltier, an Indigenous man, was charged for the murder of two FBI agents, has been extradited from Canada and has been sentenced to two life sentences. The way he was extradited has brought forth questions about how fair his trial was though.
