Abstract

The Press, Volume 39, Issue 8 includes: 1,000 people marched outside the Vancouver Art Gallery on Sept. 28 against the U.S. war and occupation in Afghanistan and Iraq; Two Canadian soldiers, Sgt, Robert Alan Short and Corp. Robbie Beerenfenger, were killed when a powerful land mine blew up their jeep in Kabul, Afghanistan. Three other soldiers were wounded in the incident.
