Several ads for sale of Crown lands and Clergy Reserves; the Cayuga Glass Company has been established; a former slave family from the Southern States had run away to Upper Canada to hide, and were kidnapped, the Black population of Niagara took pursuit of the kidnappers and two were tried (John Henderson and Henry Craig); a bill has passed in New York for the enlarging of the Hudson and Erie Canal the whole length of the line;
