Item Open Access Faculty of Education Sweatshirt(1996-97)A signed sweatshirt from the Faculty of Education class of 1996-97.Item Open Access Learned Societies Congress T-shirt(1996)This shirt is from the Learned Societies Congress held at Brock University from May 23 - June 7, 1996.Item Open Access Item Open Access Brock Cameo Tie(n.d.)The Brock cameo tie featuring subtle grey stripes on red was introduced in 1988 in conjunction with the 25th anniversary celebrations of Brock University. The tie is made of polyester from Bradford, England. It originally went on sale for $15.75 in the Bookstore.Item Open Access Brock Hood Presented to Dr. Ross Skinner(1979)This hood was presented to Dr. Ross Skinner in June of 1979 upon receiving his Honorary Doctor of Laws.Item Open Access Silver Badger Hood(1967)This hood was presented during Brock's first ever convocation in May of 1967.Item Open Access Werner Coatee(n.d.)A coatee was a military uniform coat that was tight fitting with short tails in the back.Item Open Access Brock Wool Melton Jacket(n.d.)A wool melton is a warm solid material coat. This coat was produced by Craft Sportswear in Toronto, Ontario.Item Open Access Brock Scarlet(1968)The 'Brock Scarlet' Windbreaker with big blue Brock 'B' was awarded to male athletes representing Brock who were either a part of intercollegiate competition for two years or had won a championship in their first year. This particular jacket dates back to 1968.Item Open Access Brock Leather Jacket(1967)Leather Jacket dating back to 1967. The manufacturer is Arlie's Sports Shop of St. Catharines, Ontario.Item Open Access Item Open Access Gibson Tie(1967-05)The Brock University tie was cut from a bolt of silk manufactured in Sussex, England. This was the first of 100 Brock ties specially ordered from Swords Custom Furnishings of Toronto. Dr. Gibson received this tie in May of 1967. The tie was eventually presented to Special Collections and Archives in 2002 from the Dr. James A. Gibson fonds.Item Open Access Item Open Access Brock Frosh Beanie(circa 1965)This Brock Frosh Beanie from around 1965 is made of red and blue felt with white stitching. An identification button with 'Barb' inscribed on it with black marker is attached to the left side. The Frosh Beanie and identification button were available for students to purchase immediately after registration.
